MAN OF THE MATCH: Adam Bogdan. A brilliant performance by the goalkeeper who refused to buckle in the face of some frantic Liverpool attacks

Adam Bogdan produced an outstanding performance in goal as Bolton Wanderers defended stoutly to earn a heroic 0-0 draw with Liverpool in the FA Cup fourth round at Anfield.Neil Lennon's Championship side were cheered on by 6,500 visiting fans, and fully deserved their replay at the Macron Stadium after refusing to buckle as Liverpool piled on the pressure in the second half.Hungarian goalkeeper Bogdan made several eye-catching stops, but Bolton also needed some luck with referee Kevin Friend opting against sending off visiting captain Matt Mills when he clearly fouled substitute Lazar Markovic as the home side began to find space early in the second period. While Friend will point out that he missed the Mills foul, Liverpool were just as guilty of blowing opportunities with Fabio Borini wasting a glorious chance to clinch it in injury time for Brendan Rodgers's side when he headed a yard wide from a Jordan Henderson cross. But it would have been harsh on Bolton if they had conceded after such an honest shift.
